What qualifications do you need to be a self-employed carer?

There are no specific qualifications required to be a self-employed carer in the UK. However, most self-employed carers have at least a NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. Many also have experience working in a paid carer role before going self-employed.
