What qualifications do I need to be a CQC inspector?

To work as a CQC inspector, you’ll need:
– A degree, or equivalent, in a health or social care related subject
– Professional registration with a relevant health or social care body
– Significant experience (at least 5 years) in a leadership role in health or social care
– The ability to analyse complex information and make robust decisions
– Good communication, writing and interpersonal skills
– The ability to build relationships and work in a collaborative way
