What is the difference between home care and domiciliary care?
Asked by: admin 0 views Uncategorized
Home care is when you arrange for someone to come into your home and help you with things like getting dressed, washing, cooking or eating. It is also sometimes called domiciliary care.
Domiciliary care is slightly different in that it can be provided in your own home or in a residential setting, like a nursing home. The main difference between the two is that domiciliary care is usually provided by qualified staff, such as nurses or social workers, whereas home carers are not always qualified.
