What happens if you fail a CQC inspection?

Asked by: 3 views Uncategorized

If a provider fails a CQC inspection, they will be issued with a notice of failure. This notice will set out the specific areas in which the provider failed to meet the standards and will outline the actions that the provider must take to improve.

The CQC will also monitor the provider to ensure that they are taking the necessary steps to improve and will re-inspect the service at a later date.If the provider does not improve, the CQC can take further action which may include restricting the services that the provider can offer, issuing a formal warning, or suspending or cancelling the provider’s registration.
