To become a registered manager for adult social care is there a limit of how many homes you can manage regulated activities?

There is no legal limit on the number of care homes a registered manager can operate. However, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) recommends that registered managers do not manage more than three homes at any one time.

This is because registered managers are expected to have a good understanding of the care and support provided in each home, and be able to effectively monitor and improve the quality of care.
