If I start shift in care home at 9am, and notice that the 8am medication has not been signed for what should I do?

If you notice that the 8am medication has not been signed for, you should speak to your manager or registered nurse. They will be able to investigate why the medication has not been signed for and put a plan in place to make sure that all future medications are signed for.
